Default 10.6.1 and DisplayLink devices

Another report on 10.6.1. I had a UM-710 working under OS X 10.6.0 with the 1.5b3 drivers. Upgrading to 10.6.1 disabled the display. Upgrading to 1.5b4 has not restored the functionality.

The device is listed in the System Profiler under USB. There are no console messages listed.

Attached is the full debug tool output. Contents of /Library/Application Support/DisplayLink were empty.
Attached Files
File Type: zip DisplayLink Information.zip (452.0 KB, 1320 views)

Thanx for mentioning this. This IS weird as displays here work fine with 10.6.1 and I can't think of why 10.6.1 should disable anything.

We'll look into it - Patrick aka Jolly

The frustrating part is that uninstalling and re-installing the drivers doesn't restore functionality so my MIMO is completely disabled until you guys figure something out.

Any updates on this? I installed 1.5b4 on my wife's MBP and it worked fine with the display so this is strictly a driver issue (not a hardware problem).

UPDATE: Display works fine if I manually launch "/System/Library/Extensions/DisplayLinkDriver.kext/DisplayLinkAgent/DisplayLinkUserAgent" as described in this thread.
