@CranBerryBlack, did you have any success? I'm in a similar boat, but with two LG 4K monitors. I'm using a Wavlink UG69DK1 dual 4K docking station. But because the LGs only have usb-c inputs, I've tried to use an HDMI-USB-C cable into the Wavlink, and a Displayport-USB-C cable into the Wavlink. Neither work. The DisplayLink application does register the device (i.e., on the preferences screen, I see the orientation option, which lists the monitor name properly), but there is no image.

(The HDMI-USBC and DisplayPort-USBC cables are of the right type, intended to convert a video signal *from* HDMI/Displayport).
