Default Problem with Displaylink and Apple USB to Ethernet Adapter

I have a late 2009 Mac Mini running 10.6.2 with 2 Sewell Displaylink USB to DVI adapters and an Apple USB to Ethernet Adapter.

The Mini's built-in Ethernet adapter connects to the WAN (internet), and the USB Ethernet connects to my LAN.

I never put the computer to sleep. I do put the displays to sleep. They have no problems waking from sleep. They do however cause the Ethernet adapter to disconnect all mounted network volumes and go offline when the displays wake from sleep. Upon opening System Preferences the USB Ethernet shows "Not Connected" , Cable Unplugged. It is not unplugged. Unplugging and replugging the USB to Ethernet adapter resumes the network connection.

I have captured a "Displaylink Information.zip" file for the incident but I don't know where to email it.
