Another thing - NVIDIA just released v310.90 - Ideally I'd like to install this. Will the software fix for 310.70 be compatible with 310.90??

Thanks in advance.
Actually.. Just installed 310.90 and no issues here with Desktop Window Manager.

The only thing I did differently was a fresh install of Windows 7.

Potential Solution?

This was posted in another forum. Can some try this and see if it works?

his is the only way I can get it to work with NVIDIA 680 SLIs

Turn OFF the USB monitor
Enable your surround group in NVIDIA properties
Install the latest displaylink software
TURN ON your USB monitor and go INTO Windows desktop properties to enable the usb moniotr NO nvidia control panel

Second part

So when you enable the USBM mointor the surround group stops and the 2 side monitors black out?
If so can you then go back into WINDOWS - desktop properties and change the screen res to 5760x1200 of the surround group monitor?

I am at work and will not be able to get to try this until this evening.

7.1 M1, which should fix this, will be at the end of January.

Default Driver Problem

Hi,

same problem here. As soon as I have installed the M0 driver, it overrides the Nvidia-settings in the Control Panel. Firefox and IE crashes. I also use a Dynadock which seemed to work.

Good to here there's a fix at the end of january.

Cheers

Olli

Will be fixed in 7.1 M1 which is very close to release. Merging to the other thread discussing this.
