I'm nervous about upgrading. Does rotation still work OK?

Carlo, I just purchased Plugable USB 2.0 UGA Multi-Display Adapter Model UGA-2K-A. I am running 10.7.4 on my 2.2 GHz i7 MacBook Pro. After installing the 1.7 driver, I am noticing a lot of jerky or jittery behavior when I drag a window around on my display.
Does the combination of 1.8 Displaylink and OS 10.7.4 eliminate the jerky or jittery effect when dragging a window? |

works for me
Not sure if this was my doing but I have 2 monitors connected via display link on the right and left of a main and they were swapped when I reconnected today. Rotate works fine, no problems here. I would feel a little more comfortable not running an alpha driver but thats the paranoid gene in me...

Rotation works fine for my evga unit.. however it seems the driver loading is one of the last thing the system do during bootup/login.. so whatever is on the screen of the DL device.. will be back to the main screen because the screen doesn't initialize after a lot of the Login Items has been loaded.

10.7.4 issues
I installed the 10.7.4 update with two usb monitors DEll 23'inch P2310H and it caused alot of issues for my MBP. CPU was running at nearly 100% after waking up from the first sleep. The computer became completely unresponsive and felt to be overheating. The dispalys also would not response most times after waking up from sleep. I wiped by hard drive and reinstalled from a time machine backup from 10.7.3 and everything was back to normal.

Possible to change the driver's load order?
Hi there
I know the driver is loaded when a user logs in. Is it possible to change the order it loads? Right now, on my imac it loads after the applications are restored. So windows / applicatiosn that were on the 3rd monitor do not that restored to that display. I wonder if it is a bug or a feature? |
