New to multi-monitors. What display link product to use?
Good morning,
I have a Dell Latitude e6530 with 64 bit win 7. I also have a Dell dual DVI dock. I just bought (2) Asus VE228h monitors with DVI/VGA/HDMI inputs. I want to use my laptop screen and both of the new monitors. What is the minimum equipment I should be using? Thanks in advance. |

One DisplayLink Adapter will do it

http://community.spiceworks.com/topi...mi-connections But you can continue to add additional monitors via DisplayLink-based USB devices. Given that the ASUS VE228H monitors are 1920x1080 and the laptop is a USB 2.0 system, you have a lot of options. We'd recommend our USB 3.0 model so it can outlive your current laptop: http://plugable.com/products/uga-3000 You just need one of these for the 3rd monitor (connect the other direct to the system) If you have any questions or problems, feel free to contact our support team at support@plugable.com We're happy to help. Thanks! |
