Mac not recognizing DisplayLink device
I recently purchased a second monitor to increase productivity while at home. I will list all devices and specs below following the post.
Problem: I have installed the most current DisplayLink driver and followed all directions. I am running into an issue where the computer is not recognizing that a display is plugged in through the doc. It works if plugged in natively to the Mac. I do not have an option to allow new accessories to connect in my privacy & security settings. Please help. Devices: MacBook: Air 2020 M1 OS: Sonoma 14.5 Docking station: Tobenoone UDS009 DisplayLink driver: DisplayLink Manager Graphics Connectivity 1.10.2 |

DisplayLink technology is a combination of the DisplayLink software on the host and a device with DisplayLink hardware inside of it. If your device does not have DisplayLink hardware inside of it, then the DisplayLink software will not help you. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer of the docking station for assistance. |
