https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...dock-ud22/docs is that Dell supports the UD22 unit within Ubuntu Linux. If you have not done so already, I would suggest contacting Dell directly for assistance.
If Dell is not able to assist, then I would suggest following the steps outlined here -->
