Two external monitors - DVI-1680x1050 through miniDisplayPort and Analog through Sewell mini-deck adapter...

Just had a bad system hang that required a hard power off - all screens frozen and reconnecting external display brought up snow on display port connected monitor.

I uninstalled the DisplayLink drivers and there was no issue resuming from sleep.

I am now trying the SmartSleep to avoid hibernating.

MBP i7 17" sleep issue

The displaylink drivers (both 32-bit 1.5 and 64-bit 1.6b2) fail to wake up after snow leopard is in sleep mode.

Is there any work around or new drivers being developed?

The behavior happens...
