if you have this problem. run this

https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macOS-installation-cleaner

then reinstall and plug the dock back in

I have a mokin dock with 2 2k monitors. and a M2 mac. i havent had one issue until today when i went into screen recording in the top bar and hit stop sharing. since then whenever i plug in my dock...
