Upgrade to BigSur 11.6 and nothing works anymore
After buying the necessary hardware with DisplayLink technology, I could finally have the joy of seeing my two screens turn on with my macbook m1.
It worked like a charm for a few months, until I did the last update of MacOs to Big Sur 11.6 and no more screens are detected. I reinstalled DisplayLink Manager and checked that I am up to date (Release: 1.5 | Sep 8, 2021). But nothing happens, still "no monitors detected". Any solution or other people in my case? |
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out! Would you be able to gather logfiles that will show us what happens in the background while the monitors are not being detected? To gather the logfiles please navigate to the following link for instructions on how to do it: How To Report MacOS Issues To DisplayLink. Thank you, Katarzyna |
Any updates on this? I upgraded my MacBook to 11.6 this morning and am seeing the same problem - no monitors detected. Made sure DisplayLink is current version but no resolution.
I use this for work so need a timely solution. |
I have the same issue exactly

MB16AC not found with MacBook Pro Big Sur
I loved my ASUS MB16AC, until I received a new MacBook Pro (macOS Big Sur version 11.6) from work. Processor is 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 1536 MB.
Now the display is not found. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have tried all the latest drivers already. |
Hello,
The root cause may be different for each user. We will need more information and logfiles (for instructions click here) for each case like this. If you wish to troubleshoot the issues you are seeing please gather the logfiles and for speedy support send them to technical-enquiries@synaptics.com or attach them to your next post. Thank you, Katarzyna |
