1.6.3 flooding console with errors after wake from sleep
 

Hi Guys,

I have 1.6b3 installed with 2 displaylink adapters (BVU 195) powering 2 24" monitors. I power another 30" Cinema HD from the MacbooksPro's external monitor port. The 30" is where I have the dock and menu (putting dock initially on a displaylink monitor caused a lot of display problems that went away as soon as I set it up as outlined above)

I run Snow Leopard with latest updates.

I have 2 issues - the first one definitely a DisplayLink problem - the second one may be unrelated but started happening within days of setting up displaylink

1) After waking computer from sleep my console gets FLOODED with THOUSANDS of display link errors. they all are the same just with different timestamps >> "11/15/10 12:10:30 AM com.displaylink.usbnivolistener[54] 2010-11-15 00:10:30.261 DisplayLinkManager[126:903] (0060a610.514)-[DLDistributedNotificationCenter receivedData:onStreamNumber:] notification arrived to late -1.298264"

after a while they stop.

2) A few days after installing displaylink - I started having a problem I never had before.. "windowsserver" would crash somehow - and the system would AUTOMATICALLY log me out - taking all my open work with it (ie. not just switching user where my work stays on screen but actually completely logging me out and closing all apps).
