hp 2.0 hub and HP L2045w monitor
 

I have tried everyhthing I know to get my four monitors to work. I can get a monitor to work if I plug it up with a monitor cable, but not when I us a usb cable.

I am not an IT minded person but this looked easy. It sure would be nice it someone could point me in the right direction.

This monitor has a USB 2.0 hub in it, but no functionality to connect video over USB - you need a regular VGA cable. You could connect over USB using one of the adapters e.g. available from the shop link on our front page.
