Black screen or pointer only
 

Hi!

I've connected my Dell 3100 docking station with Debian (unstable/exp), lastest Kernel (4.8) and lastest displaylink drivers.

Now the monitor attached to the docking station is black or shows only the pointer. I made a screenshot, but it shows the whole desktop.

Kde isn't the cause, because I made also a test with fvwm.

I have the same issue on my Fedora 25 install using Gnome 3.22! It looks as if it was working completely, but I can only see the pointer. Every once in a while a different image gets stuck on the external monitors (whatever is showing on my main screen at the time it gets stuck).

I've got the new driver (16 Feb 1.3.52).

No good news about this issue, there are no hope to use my docking station with linux?

@aiguofer: Fedora 25 moved to Wayland which is currently not supported, see https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/issues/58

@Kbyte: can you please post a new set of logs with 1.3 release?
