Hi, just wanted to report this bug. Installed the new 2.0 driver (which resolved the screen artefacts that often occurred with the old 1.8 driver), and it is causing Photoshop CS6 (13.0.4) to crash on launch when the secondary USB display is plugged in. Photoshop appears to load, the workspace appears for an instant, and then it crashes, every time. Reverting to the 1.8 driver resolved the issue. Photoshop also loads fine when the USB display is unplugged.

This is on a mid 2011 iMac (AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB) running 10.8.3, and the USB display is the 22" AOC E2251FWU monitor.

We tried to reproduce your issue with Photoshop CS6 (13.0.4), but no luck.
Anyway, there is a section called "Graphics processor settings" in Preferences->Performance. Could you please try to disable the "Use Graphics Processor" option and see if this help? Is Photoshop trying to restore a previously open file or just a blank workspace when the crash occurs? Is the DisplayLink screen seta as primary display? It would also help if you could post the crash log. Thanks

Argh, I can't reproduce it either sorry - seems to be working fine now. Strange. Thanks for looking into it. Will post back if I can reproduce.
